Confused? Compare Lubes

We've created a little comparison chart on all SpeedCubeShop lubes. If you're confused about which lube to go for, this guide might just help.

If you like control (gummy/slower cubes)

If you're after control. We recommend Galaxy, Nebula or Cosmos. All lubricants do mix together to create something super unique.

If you like speed (fast cubes)

If you like fast cubes then Comet, Lunar or Stardust is a good starting point. 2-3 drops into your puzzle and break in.

What is Solar lube?

Solar lube is pineapple scented and is a good mixture of all lubes in one. It offers speed and control from the first few drops.

How long will my SCS lube last?

That all depends on how often you use your cubes and the humidity of your enviornment and many more factors. Basically, only lube your cube when it feels like you need to. A 10ml bottle should last a good few months but again, this can depend on how many cubes you are lubricating and how many solves you are doing a day.
