Cool new addition to the collection

It's super satisfying to do slice turns when it clicks into place. The magnet strength is good and it turns quite smooth.

This cube is very fast and smooth. Unfortunately it's pretty unstable and will pop with only a minimum of force when misaligned. It's marginally better when tightened.

Needs some set up (search on YouTube) but great after that. Love that black pieces have been included.

absolutely amazing square-1. turns so fluidly and BY FAR the best square-1 out there. only downside is it pops/ has bad lock ups quite a lot and when I switched yellow caps for black, one orange piece had a bit of the yellow cap stuck in it so I had to buy a replacement piece.
nevertheless, still an amazing puzzle

I didn't know how to solve a Square-1 until I bought this puzzle, the manual is very descriptive and the puzzle has black replacement caps included. That is really cool.

Grate puzzle confused on how to solve it but after learning a few algorithms it was pretty easy only problem is learning parity but oh well definitely recommend this puzzles to anyone who wants a great square 1

This was my first square-1, and even though I’m a beginner, I could see the top square-1 solvers using this cube. The magnet alignment system is just genius, the turning is smooth and fast and the pieces are nice and grippy. I learned square-1 on this cube and I got my first sub-minute solve less than a week after learning. I would recommend this cube to everyone.

If you are looking for a good square 1 get this because it is the best one there is. The magnet strength in the slice is strong. The magnet strength in the U and D layers is moderate. It has corner cutting. It can cut anywhere on the edge and 3/4 on the corners. It doesn't have mognets in the edge pieces so that means the U and D layers (when in cube shape) stick only on a sliceable turn. So not on (-1,0) or (2,0) but it will on (1,0), (3,0) and (0,0). The corner cutting means you basically can slice on (-1,0) tho. It is soo smooth and fast. It comes with black pieces to replace the yellow or the white if you wish. It has primary internals resulting in the smoothest cube in my huge collection and it has awesome shades 😎. If you are looking for a good square 1 get this squan because it has the biggest corner cutting on any square 1 at the time of writing. There was apparently a GAN square 1 comming one day soon. It might be better but it will be hard to beat the YJ MGC square 1.

My has been the x-man for a long while. This has the advatage of more corner cutting and upper-lower layer speed, however, the magnetic part if slightly weaker than I would like, it is much less stable (can actually pop, unless I make it too tight) and it is SO difficult to chqnge the pieces for black. The last point would be that apparently the core is easy to break... if that happens this review would be more like a 4 or even 3 starts (depending on how long it lasts).

Really good cube the only negative thing is that when changing the colour from yellow to black, one of the yellow pieces broke and now I can't change it for a black piece

This cube is amazing, it's fast, smooth, stable, and has great corner cutting. The option to replace the yellow face with black is also a really good feature. The slice magnets are strong while the layer magnets are weaker but still noticeable. It's taking me some time to adjust to this cube since I'm coming from an old shengshou square-1 which has terrible performance in comparison. I'm finding the solving experience far more enjoyable and my solve times are dropping considerably. I would highly recommend this to others that enjoy square-1
