YuXin Little Magic Square-1 (Magnétique)

No need to set it up out of the box as the turning is already smooth and stable. I barely get lock-ups, and I haven't even added lube yet. Looking forward to competing with this SQ-1 and I will definitely enjoy it.

Very good cube in terms of turning and magnets but came with loads of tiny scratches on it and the box was a bit battered.

This was bought as a present and as far as i know they are very happy with it

Out of the box, this cube is very tight and loosening doesn’t really seem to do much to help that. The pieces feel kind of cheap, but this is a good puzzle if you don’t care too much about speed solving it and just want to try it out.

This is my first SQ-1 so can't compare to others, but I'm very happy with it. The slice move feels great, although the U and D layers feel a bit stiff, might just be because I haven't broken it in yet. Not had any catches or pops, would definitely recommend :)

I found a vid on youtube by a sq-1er who had found some great Na and Nb algs, for a regular 3x3, the perspective was really good, it got me interested in Sq-1 cubes, so I got this. I have the Little Magic 3x3, so I figured I'd stick with the brand for my entry into Sq-1.

I don't have other SQ-1 cubes, so I cannot compare, but I like this cube a lot. I probably didn't need the magnetic version, but when I get quicker on it, they will come into play and be useful. It feels solid, doesn't catch and slices well.

It's also a nice break from 3x3/ 4x4, learning a new set of skills is always good :-)

this cube is a really high quality puzzle, and i love turning it. my squan times have improved a lot using this cube and i highly recommend it if you are getting into squan. if you already have one though and can solve it fairly fast, then i would recommend getting the x man volt

This square-1 was very good for the price but did need some some lube. The magnets were slightly too strong on the top and bottom layers but this didn’t stop it being a very good cube. Perfect first square-1.

This cube is FAST! The slice layer is very fast and it has quite weak magnets. The top and bottom layer are both equal in speed and have a slight bump in the turning due to the magnets which are also weak. As I said this cube is really fast and quite hard to control at first but it is easy to get used to. I think this square 1 is amazing and is better than the X man Volt square 1 (which is quite slow). I would totally recommend this to anyone getting into square 1 and even world-class solvers.

My first square 1, so no experience whatsoever. The slice is VERY fast and the slice magnets are weak.
The equator layers are controllable and the magnets slow it down a lot which helps.
The corner cutting is decent for a square 1 but I don't really know what's good and what isn't. The solving is very hard!
