Silicone-based lubes will remain in the puzzle for longer than water-based lubes and create more of a 'gummy' feeling. If you prefer raw speed, water-based lubes are ideal. That said, there are fast silicone lubricants available.
Blitz
Blitz is a thin silicone lubricant designed for speed. Add 2 drops to the foot of any corner piece and 1 drop to the edge/corner contact point.
Dash
Dash offers more control and less speed. Apply 2 drops to the corner foot and 1 to the edge-corner contact point. Add Dash to the track of an edge for smoothness.
Swift
Swift slows down fast puzzles and adds a plush feel. Add 2 drops to both sides of an edge track, then break it in. Add Blitz afterward for speed.
Glide
Glide creates a controllable cube. Apply it to the edge track, then add Blitz or Dash for your desired feel.
Terra
Perfect for bigger cubes or hardware. Terra is thicker than Glide, creating a plush and smooth feel.
Ignis
Ignis slows fast cubes and is excellent for squeaky hardware. Use sparingly, as a little goes a long way.
Aqua
Aqua is a water-based lube that spreads easily and lasts longer. It provides an instant boost of speed with minimal control.
Did you know?
Thick lubes should be applied closer to the core, while thinner lubes work better on edge/corner pieces. However, experimentation is key!
Mixing Lubes
⚠️ Avoid mixing water-based and silicone-based lubes, as it can create a blocky feel. Always break in your cube before applying more lube.
